Hot, Hot, Hot!!!!

We know that everyone back in the south is getting a feel of Yuma weather. Emma Kate, Matt and I were able to be in Tucson last week and we went swimming in the pool. Emma Kate still doesn't know what to think about it. She enjoys the water but there were quite a few kids splashing and so she was watching them very intently. We also went hiking at Mt. Lemon with some friends John and Jodi and their three dogs. It was nice and cool (75 degrees, 8,000 ft elevation!) Also, Emma Kate thought she would help me with the laundry but decided they were better for napping! (she woke up when I took the picture) Enjoy the pictures and videos.

We hope that you enjoy this video of Emma Kate and one of Ashton. I am still trying to figure out how to do all of this!

We love our Family!

So, we recently got a new computer and so it is taking me awhile to get the pictures from the trip that I downloaded onto the old computer onto the new computer.

During our visit to Birmingham Gran Gran and Daddy Steve (Matt's parents) were so kind as to host a party in honor of Emma Kate. We had such a wonderful time and it was great to see everyone all in one place. Here are some pictures from the fabulous event.

After our wonderful weekend party with the Alexanders, Gigi, Alice, Sarah, Kyle (Sarah's boyfriend) and Emma Kate headed north to Kentucky. We saw The Kentucky McGoughs -Kelley, William and Elaine, Uncle Elton and Aunt Sue. Then we headed further into Kentucky to see Grandma Williams (Alice's mom's mother) and the Barretts (Alice's mom's twin sister). It was great to see Grandma, Jimmy, Brenda and Rachel.

Emma Kate's Dedication

It is very important to us that Emma Kate know God and know how much we want to guide her towards a relationship with the Lord. We wanted her to be dedicated at Dawson Memorial Baptist so that our family and friends from Birmingham could participate. Having so many of our loved ones present is what made the day so special. My Pappa was able to travel up to Birmingham and meet Emma Kate. It was also fabulous to see Dennis, Ginny and Katie Carroll. We love having such a large extended family! It was such a joy to see Jared, Ashley and Colvin Bussey. They are a beautiful family! I also need to brag on Gigi (Mom McGough) because she made Emma Kate's gown. She did a wonderful job! Here are some pictures from the day. Enjoy!

Trip to the South

We had such a wonderful trip to Birmingham! I can't believe that we are back in Yuma already. We enjoyed getting to see everyone and for those of you who we didn't see we hope that we can get together when we come back next. We have so many pictures that I want to post and so it might take a while. Emma Kate and I are still trying to adjust to the time change and not having 24 hour entertainment. We miss you all and hope you enjoy the pictures.

Our first event in Birmingham was Tara and Chad James' wedding! You two were beautiful and the wedding was perfect!
