Easter and Birthday

I know that I should have already put up pictures from Easter but we had a busy week getting things ready for Emma Kate's birthday party yesterday. We had a great Easter and were able to spend it with friends and family. We also had some friends (Jeremy and Christi Boyd) come to visit that we had not seen in years. It was as if no time had passed. Emma Kate was playing in daddy's briefcase before church We dyed easter eggs and Emma Kate got to watch Jeremy, Matt, Chrisit and Emma Kate (she wanted down!)

Emma Kate had a wonderful birthday yesterday! We had some friends and family over and everyone had a great day. Emma Kate got such thoughtful and fun gifts and she absolutely loves them all! It was hard to get her to eat dinner last night because she didn't want to stop playing. We want to thank everyone who came and for those that were here in spirit!

She had such a good time opening all her presents and having so many friends help her celebrate!

After the party she played for a while with all her new toys. Her dress was just getting in the way!

Trip to SeaWorld

I wanted to put up some pictures of our trip to Sea World and our great visit with Nelson. I am also putting up some pictures of Matt with one of his arts and crafts projects!

Latest trip to Birmingham

I can't remember what has happened since I last posted. I know we told everyone that we are expecting baby #2 while we were in Birmingham. We were there the end of February. We went for a surprise 90th birthday party for my Pappa (and my Dad and Sister's birthday...we call it birthday weekend). While we were there Emma Kate decided to start walking (of course being the perfect grandchild that she is, she waited until all the grandparents were together!). She is now all over the place and I can hardly keep up. We are busy planning her first birthday party (March 30) and getting over morning/all-day sickness. Uncle Nelson came to Yuma for some of his spring break and just left this morning. We went to Sea World San Diego yesterday and had a blast! I am not sure how many pictures/videos I will get to put up this post (Emma Kate is napping) but I will try to get around to all of them eventually.

Round 2!

If you haven't heard by now, we are excitedly expecting another baby! We are due mid September which means that Emma Kate and the baby will be about 18 months apart. We are so excited and can't wait to meet our new little one. We feel so blessed that God has given us this gift. Here is the first picture of our little one. We will keep you updated!
