Easter and Birthday

I know that I should have already put up pictures from Easter but we had a busy week getting things ready for Emma Kate's birthday party yesterday. We had a great Easter and were able to spend it with friends and family. We also had some friends (Jeremy and Christi Boyd) come to visit that we had not seen in years. It was as if no time had passed. Emma Kate was playing in daddy's briefcase before church We dyed easter eggs and Emma Kate got to watch Jeremy, Matt, Chrisit and Emma Kate (she wanted down!)

Emma Kate had a wonderful birthday yesterday! We had some friends and family over and everyone had a great day. Emma Kate got such thoughtful and fun gifts and she absolutely loves them all! It was hard to get her to eat dinner last night because she didn't want to stop playing. We want to thank everyone who came and for those that were here in spirit!

Early birthday celebrations (we wanted to space out the gift opening so that she could enjoy it a little bit more)

She didn't really like the hat but she did like the dress that Mommy made her

She thought that the cake was okay. She didn't really want to eat very much of it and she didn't want to get messy.

She had such a good time opening all her presents and having so many friends help her celebrate!

After the party she played for a while with all her new toys. Her dress was just getting in the way!
