Trip to Birmingham

I recently got home from Birmingham and had a wonderful visit. It was great to see so many of you and it sounds like everyone is doing well. The love that I felt from our family and friends at the baby shower was overwhelming. I appreciate all the baby items that we received and know that baby Alexander is going to use and love all of them. I want to say thank you to Abbey for all of her hard work in getting the shower together because I know how busy she is. I have posted some pictures of all the fun that we had at the shower.

The rest of the week flew by as I was busy completing the baby's wardrobe with style that is not available in Yuma. I enjoyed getting to see all the family and being able to go to Sarah's state indoor meet. She did really well and ran the 4x200, 400, and 4x400. Their team won the 4x200 and the Hoover girls placed second overall in the 6A division. Here are some pictures from the meet.

Now that I home I am ready to get everything set up. I will be posting pictures of the nursery once it gets ready. Thank you again to all that came to the shower and for the beautiful gifts.

Alice, I love the pictures! The baby shower was very fun, but as usual, way to short of a time to spend with you. I can't wait to see you in June for my wedding!
