Nice January

While I know that most of you are having a cold January right now we are having a very pleasant January. We are taking advantage of our nice temperatures as we know that this summer we will not have that privilege. We have been playing at the park and in the backyard. Matt has been out of town for the week and the kids have been well behaved. Mason had his 4 month checkup today and weighs 13 and 1/2 pounds. He is getting to be a big boy and is enthralled with Emma Kate. She took her doctor kit with us and was pretending to give Mason shots and listen to his heart. She kept telling everyone bye bye when they would leave the room. She was concerned when Mason got his shots but overall they were great (we were in the room for over an hour). Matt gets home tomorrow and we are excited about seeing our Daddy. We hope that everyone stays warm and know that I will not be bragging about our weather this summer!
Emma Kate has been talking A LOT since we got back from Christmas. I think that being around all the conversations helped her vocabulary. Recently she has been saying the darnedest things.
- Whenever Mason spits up she says " Oh goodness Mason" with an inflection right in the middle of goodness
-we got a garmin for Christmas and now when we are in the car she says "turn right Mommy, turn right Mommy" she repeats just like the lady on the garmin

There are other things that I will try and remember but I am going to bed!

That is so cute about Emma Kate bringing her doctor stuff. Glad to hear Mason is doing good. Enjoy the pleasant weather!
